2026 int. 8 metre World Cup Heads to Bregenz, Austria

The International Eight Metre Class is pleased to announce that the 2026 World Cup will be held in Bregenz, hosted by Yacht Club Bregenz on the shores of Lake Constance.

Set against a spectacular backdrop where the Alps meet the water, Bregenz offers a unique combination of challenging racing conditions and stunning natural beauty. Known for its reliable thermal winds and picturesque surroundings, the venue promises a championship that is as competitive as it is memorable.

Throughout the event week, the lakefront will welcome sailors and visitors from around the world, creating a vibrant atmosphere defined by Austrian hospitality and the city’s renowned summer spirit. Beyond the racing, the region offers a rich mix of cultural experiences, outdoor activities, and opportunities to explore one of Central Europe’s most scenic areas.
