The World Cup will officially open in the heart of Bregenz, right at the harbour and framed by the city’s unique lakeside skyline.

Together with the popular Bregenz Wine Festival, guests can enjoy a relaxed evening with regional wines, drinks and fine finger food while meeting fellow competitors, teams and visitors from around the world.

Join us at the Yacht Club area for an informal evening with barbecue, cold drinks and a DJ set. The perfect chance to unwind after racing and celebrate the spirit of the 8 Metre class.

The Annual General Assembly of the International Eight Metre Association (IEMA) will take place at the Yacht Club Bregenz. Owners will discuss current class matters and future activities of the international 8 Metre community.

Discover the remarkable story of Franz Plunder, a boatbuilder and adventurer from Bregenz who crossed the Atlantic Ocean in a self-built sailing boat in 1923. Exhibition curator Markus Barnay will guide World Cup participants and accompanying guests through this fascinating exhibition.

An exclusive evening for owners in a truly special setting.

Hosted at the Montfortsaal on the Gebhardsberg, the dinner offers breathtaking views over Lake Constance and the surrounding region. A refined atmosphere, excellent cuisine and great company define this highlight of the week.

The World Cup concludes with a festive gala evening at the Yacht Club.

Set within the World Cup event area, the evening combines a stylish dinner, the official prize giving ceremony and a celebration of an outstanding week of racing on Lake Constance.

Start each day with the official morning briefing in the Race Harbour for skippers, tender drivers and crew.

The fastest teams of the day are celebrated, followed by a race debriefing.

Unwind after a day on the water in a relaxed atmosphere with cold drinks and good company.

Dinner is served daily from 6:00 p.m. in the event tent. Advance registration is required.
